“I find inspiration in nature and try to share this through my art.”
I developed an interest in watercolor back in the 1990s while studying Interior Design at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Q.C. I learned about perspective, color theories, influence of art and history on design, planning and conceptualization… skills and knowledge needed in architecture and in interior design practice that later I would find useful in my pursuit of art. We were introduced to various rendering mediums but what caught my fascination was watercolor. It captures the beauty of light and color so well.
